End Table Build

Heres a custom end table i built from some scrap 7/8'' tubing and oak wood. Well even though i love working with metal i still love working with wood too. I learned woodworking before working with steel. This was a small end table project that i made a steel frame, added some hand bent scrolls, oak hardwood, and 3/4''x 1/8'' flat bar for the edging. I added a burn finish to the wood to give it that ''older'' look It was a fun project. Sorry no weld pics i didnt get pics of the fabercation, just the assembly.Shane Frame built and all painted The top/bottom shelf cut with a custom burn finishSet the top to the frame/square it upThe edging all done. Reply:I looks nice.  IMHO it would better with coped horizontal members that you blend in VS. the pressed ends.  But nonetheless it looks nice.Lots of toys.
