www.clampmfg.com/Noticed where someone was used to using the ground clamps that are magnetized like the Tweeco, Rigid and MagSwitch.  They did not want to switch back to the traditional ground clamp when welding aluminum.  The "T-handle" Kant Clamp, with its copper jaws, was attached to the aluminum workpiece and the magnetic ground clamp was attached to the Kant. Wondered if anyone was doing something similar and knew of an alternative to the Kant?  Consider just buying a traditional ground clam in place of the Kant. Reply:No no no...what he should do is go out and buy an ALUMINUM magnetic ground.  That will solve his problem.  It's made of a material known as stainless aluminum, usually found at Acklands right next to the hugs and quick slaps.
Reply:The KantTwist is an awesome clamp, but I would expect it to be an awful ground clamp. It has copper PLATED jaws.  The jaws are still made of steel.Home Depot has the aluminum magnets.  You just have to go to the basement to find them.
