Sorry for the crappy cell phone picsthis is a homemade frame machine thing that i came up with. you wouldn't believe how badly the generators get beat on. "need to see if it can be broken? give it to a solider" LOL basically i bolt the frame to the table. apply pressure and smack it with a little BFH.TIG table i built. 1/2" aluminum bolted (with countersunk bolts) to 1/4 2x2 steel angle and 11ga 2x2 sq. base. one welder needs 4 helmets right? LOLsheet-metal area. stupid old foot shear will only cut 42" also a hand punch and pan brakesteel welding/jig table. built from a old cart we no longer used. wired with 110v outlets at the bottom. i hate extension cords everywhere. top is 4" channel machines. one of my better ideas was the dry erase board. beats the hell outta soapstone on the table.other side of the wall. machine shop.drill/ brake lathe. brake lathe doesn't see much use anymore but saves us a few bucks on rotors for the shop trucks.pretty much any thing you see homemade in the shop i have made. hope you enjoyed visiting John
Reply:Always enjoy seeing other shops. I especially like the frame straightening rig as I too have had to deal with racked generator frames. I think they pull them off the truck and let them drop the 3 feet to the ground. I also like your steel welding table with the 4" channel. Nice shop.
