Its getting cold. So rather than open the shop doors to move generators from the mechanics side to the paint side, I dreamed up this little cart. Measures 36" x 30". I made one a few months ago and today i got tired of hearing the arguments over it. So i built another. Still needs a piece of plywood, Larp dont do wood, cant weld it back together when you cut it too short..LOLit needs to be able to turn a TIGHT 90 degree to get through the hallway w/o beating up the walls. sooo...front axlegratuitous bead pic. Millermatic DVI. .035 wire. 75/25, volts "5" wire feed 50ishNow i got 5 more guys wanting one for the shop, and one with off-road tires to haul firewood at home

Reply:Nice cart. I like the mechanism. What did you do for the pivot points? I can't tell but it looks like holes and bolts. Did you use some type of bushing?

Reply:Love this thing but I may be kind of DUM in the physics of your design. Kind of going along with forhire's question, looks to me like if the base of the cart is mounted to each axle with a single bolt in the center of the axle to allow the linkage to work each axle, what keeps the load on the cart from rocking side to side ..... Doe's that make any sense in what I'm trying to ask  ?

Reply:Originally Posted by larpheadthe pin is a 3/4 bolt and there is a bushing in the square tube axle. it is the inside of an old A-Arm bushing LOL...even these big dollar government jobs we gotta work with what we got..LOLi wanted to drill it an put in a grease fitting (even if they would not grease it regularly )  but that thing is harder than a wedding d*ck.
Reply:This cart is very, very cool.
