Reply:That's a good deal. I paid 1200.00 for mine about 7 years ago. It seems the list was about 2000.00 then. I got it on a once in a lifetime special. Its too bad you don't have the mt200 gun. They have cheapened up the gun, in my opinion. I have the old one and it works flawlessy and is comfortable to use. I like the trigger operation, smooth and easy with just a little "hair trigger" feel.I have tried all kinds of wire in my machine. The uncoated "aristo" Esab wire works great and so does the "national" premium wire, also uncoated. Murex never ran well at all. I have some techniweld in now that I can't wait for it to run out.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:Im not sure which wire Im gonna use, but Ill look at the wire your talking about. In my HH140 I have lincoln wire from Home Depot. I seems to work fine but thats the only wire I have used. I spent about a month trying to decide which welder to buy. I decided on the ESAB after doing a ton of research. Im looking at an ESAB plasma, currently I have a Semadre 50 plasma. Yes it a china made one, but it cuts through 3/8 like butter. When it craps out Ill but the ESAB or Thermadyne.laterOrlie
