Handrail problem

This was built out of order ....our tile guy had trouble with his marble order(for the treads and riser's)The welder went ahead and did his thing,I followed and installed the wood much like this stair caseMany of the supporting arms had to be moved,etc...Ok so this weekend the tile guy is installing the marble and now we find out that the landing is off quite a bit and has to be padded up...it also changes just about everything else.Should be a interesting day Monday I will post pics and let you know just how much I'm f***ked.

Reply:Thank you...here's a pic as we were building it...notice the welder on the landing,supporting arms are never where they are supose to be luckily I can weld a little so moving them to the correct height is not a big deal.The other handrail will be a little more involved I bet

Reply:I do not know what happened to our tile guy but I really need the landing finished before I can go much farther.Today I cut off and raised the landing part of the handrail.Also where the angle meets the landing(no pic)was re-done. I had just been given the ac lift...came in real handy today.Look at how much thin-set is under the treads...starts out about right at the top but by the time it gets to the landing its a good 1 1/2"Also notice where the handrail had been screwed to the wall?Waiting for the landing tom be installed before I bring it back down...its just floating now.

Reply:We use a little porta'tig set-up with small bottles, weighs 35-40 lbs and we just hook it up to the leads on the truck, it's pretty bad ***...."...My pappy was a pistol I'm a son of a gun...""...God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy..."
