Reply:My Hobart 187 can't take a larger spool,So I pay $29.99 for a 10lb spool of Hobart wire from TSC. No drive to the "local" welding supply, no hazmat fee, not bs.I got a bad spool of that stuff once and started using L56 from Lincoln, but theres not much difference if both spools are in good shape. Reply:Hazmat is a profit builder for dealers. The idea of hazmat reast on the assumption the the dealer must supply MSDS for all listed hazmat product.  Ironically almost all manuf, supply them for free on the net. If you are paying hazmat that coast more that a $1.00 per purchase find a new supplier.
