I am updating my Square wave 275 lincoln to water cooled. Just purchased a used Bernard 3500 cooler. Right now the only torch I have is a 17 series and a decent amount of consumables.Should I go with the 18 series so I can use the consumables I have even though the 18 series duty cycle is much higher than my machine capacity or should I get a 20 series that matches my machines capacity and buy new consumables. Or go versatile and get the multihead 225 series torch and would hopefully never have to buy another torch again and could practically weld anything within my machines capabilities.Second question is, where is the best place to buy torches (online or local), should I get a kit, what else may I need that some sellers don't include.Any suggestions would be appreciated (This is for serious hobby welding not proffesional) Thanks again10 speed
Reply:I would get a 20 no two ways about it.  Much easier to manipulate, gets into tighter places a the gas lenses don't add much bulk to the torch.
Reply:The 20 is what I am leaning towards the most after doing a little more research and the popularity. Thanks for the input
Reply:I have both, the 20 feels literally half the physical size of the 18. Huge difference.Miller millermatic 251Miller aircrafter 330st, wp201961 Lincoln SA200Ellis 1600 bandsawLogan 820 latheSouth Bend 13"Bridgeport M Head
