. . . with the Jenn-Air that is. GG of course is Judy's Mom and is how the grandkids address her.  Wasn't sure if I should post this in the Off Topic, Safety, Electrical, Other Manufacturers (Jenn-Air) or ??? so I decided Welding Projects & Pictures was it since it was her first attempt at welding.Created quite the excitement first thing this morning and I guess I'll have to keep an AD hood in the kitchen now for boiling Mom's tea water. Reply:Yeah, at 240V it sure WAS well into 'spray-transfer' mode!Look like she got a 'little' bit of undercut there and also some porosity from lack inadequate shielding.  Did she forget to use the SolarFlux or neglect the back purge with pure argon?      Glad that things are generally OK though.  Hmmm, the circuit breaker didn't trip while the heater element was shorting out?  Maybe double-check that breaker.  The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
