Just picked up a Miniarc 90i to play around with. The pot that adjusts amperage appears to be messed up. No start or stop detente and it spins 360*. Doesn't seem to adjust amperage either. It burns 6011 3/32" ok so it seems to work. Is the pot available direct from ESAB or is there a preferred manufacturer to use? I'd imagine any would work, but the dust and dirt it's exposed to could kill a cheap or unsealed one pretty quick. Thanks,StevePrimeweld CT 520DLincoln 180
Reply:If it is just a pot, I would just record the numbers and search the internet. Surely, somebody will sell you 100 or more.Last edited by tapwelder; 02-28-2021 at 02:36 AM.
Reply:Part number is 951847. Contact any welding supply that sells ESAB parts and they might be able to get one. They might have to add it to their next ESAB order do to minimum Order requirements. You might be able to read the specs off the pot and go online to one of the online stores and get one you can make work. Might be enough for an order at one of them. |
