Homemade sandblaster

Hello everyone!Today I have finished my sandblaster and tested it for the first time! And...It works! Total money spent 35€.Sorry for bad pictures!First try on rust!Striping paint of sandblaster!Now I just have to buy full face respirator and then first project: sandblasting sandblaster and paint it! Reply:what are you using to dry the air from your compressor   how long have you ran it i made something similar but with pvc works great i used the same design with the force fed style works alot better then grav feed. nice work  get a sifter so you dont need to keep buying sand
Reply:I don't have air dryer yet because i couldn't find any for reasonable price. I am still looking for it. And i will build a sand cabinet in the future, hopefully soon! I tried it for 5 minutes and when i stopped... DAMN  Let me just say that my next thing on my shopping list is industrial vacuum cleaner...
Reply:Nice. I like it when you can make it cheap and beat the big guys, mainly the box stores at their own game. Reply:I wear a 3M respirator and a face shield, I GOTTA get the right gear, I get that crap in my ears and everything, I blast out in the driveway with the garage doors closed, learned the hard way, what a mess. Reply:you can make a blaster out of pretty much anything i made mine from a 6ft piece of 6" pvc caped the top with a threaded plug and glued a 1 piece cap on the bottom put some air fittings on top n bottom bam sandblaster ill put the link to the post about my airline cooler/dryer it works well doesnt clog the gun the sand stays dry
