I just bought a 250cf argon bottle and want to know if I can get it filled? The bottle was made in 1959 it's a 2265 psi bottle. The bottle was last tested in 05 on the neck it says AIR PRODUCTS. INC. in raised letters I looked all over the WEB and it not a local welding company. The tank is full, should I call a LWS place and ask. Any help would be would be great.
Reply:I always complete my purchase of a bottle at the LWS. It's the only way to know you can exchange it. I pay the seller when the exchanged bottle is loaded in my truck.Lincoln SA200's... at least 15 - 20. They come and go. Growing partial to the "Short Hoods" in my old age. Last count on Short Hoods was 13 in possession.
Reply:That would be a good idea, but it's to late I will show a picture of the bottle to the LWS and see if they will fill it or exchange it? If it's a rental can they send it out and have it filled? |
