International water truck

There's not much welding, altough i done alot of it, on this project page. It wasn't meant to be shown but i figured it could be of intererst to some of you, big machines, scorching flames, molten metals lovers. It's the second truck exactly like that that i done.Here's a project i recently had to do at work, the truck was originaly a 6 wheeler that i converted into a 10. There's also the matter of lengthening the frame (added 23 feet), aligning it perfectly, welding and buffing then doubling it with press brake bent 1/4 stock. Drilling the holes for the suspension, adjusting everything... it's quite a modification of a vehicule.Then there's the water tank and extra huge fuel tank that goes on it.The truck is for a client that exports them to the african continent.Here we go with the pictures... Reply:Ugh the walking beam.   Just looking at that makes me want to find a high school kid to whack my kidneys with a baseball bat to remind me why i hate that suspension. They are a fantastic suspension setup for speeds under 25mph and off road.    Second only to the mack camel back suspension.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
