Reply:Renagade, I have an Speedglas 9100 and a Selstrom.  Both say 23 degrees f is lowest temp to use them in.  This is in their respective booklets.  Best  bob
Reply:I didn't store my hood(Speedglas 9100x) outside, but I welded with it in single digit and below 0 temps and didn't have a problem with it..  I also had my fixed shade on stand by just in case I did.
