I have been meaning to build a new larger work table for a while.  We have (2) 5'x10s and (1) 4'x10.  This table is 5' x 20'.  The perimeter frame is W10x33 and the interior runners are C6x8.2 spaced at roughly 30" O.C.  The legs are 6"x4"x3/8" and the connecting pipes are 4" std.  The 45 kickers are 3"x3"x1/4".  I used 7/8" grade 5 all thread and 7/8" heavy hex nuts for the levelers.  The top is made out of (2) 5'x10' pieces of 1/2" PL seamed in the middle with a slight bevel and ground flat.  Now keep in mind, I didnt spend a dollar on this table.  Aside from what I consumed welding and cutting.  So there are reasons why it is what it is.  Overall weight is around 4K lbs.   I still have to clean it and wipe with oil.  BrandonLots of toys.

Reply:Brandon, thanks for pointing out I don't read worth a dang. lol. I just get all excited when I see the pretty pictures. You will have to let us know if those ever fail. I don't have a spec book to see what that thread would hold. I have a tendency to over engineer. Regards,RobGreat Basin WeldingInstagramBlue weldersRed weldersMy luscious Table DIY TIG Torch cooler

Reply:@Brandon75173I agree about the patience.@Mick120  Thanx for the pics. I am assuming you bolt the jigs in place? Got any pics of your work set up in those jigs?I'm in process of building a big, but light duty fabrication table. Around 4foot X 9foot X 3/16 thick top. I'll be mocking up and fabing light steel on this one. Also use it to roll 4wheelers and riding mowers up on it..... That means I have to build some custom ramps for it also.Only other table I currently have.... Well everybody gets givin me the same excuse. Of course it is on fire it is wood.We are on our way to being farmers! Our site is always under construction so check back often for updates.  http://www.philosophyfarmstyle.com/
