Lets see some of your projects. Something you have made for, the little ones,or projects you make with the kids.  Even ideas of things you want to make with or for kids.1st  teeter-totter  or seesaw 3''pipe for the hoop. 2''x10''x12' board 1'' pipe for handles.note the pivot point.  works good for big kid to little kid ratio.  Rated for 275lbs side or my fattest friends.   I should of mounted the hoop a little lower 24'' is a bit high.#2 A 20year old swingset,I got from a friend.  sandblast and paint.  Made up a ladder out of pipe, and put some composite deck boards on the swing-n-slide.  Oh and a OS&Y valve. ( A must have)Daye Attached ImagesPound to fit, paint to match

Reply:Nothing wrong with a cage.   My first welding project was a fence to keep the little guy from running away. Then we added a swingset:Testing phase:Then a zip line:Now he's big enough to start helping out.Jack OlsenMy garage website

Reply:Ha!  The zip line got tested with sandbags first.  It was designed to come in for a safe slow landing before it got to the end.  He's too big for it now, but he liked riding in it a lot.Jack OlsenMy garage website

Reply:When the glaciers around here melt, I'll have to get picts of the zip line one of my customers had installed for their tree house. I think the guy who set it up ran the Airborne training school at Ft. Benning.  Harness up. jump out from 20' up and sail down about 75 yds to the far end of the yard..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:Here's a couple of shots of something that really paid off in the long haul. I did this about four years ago and the grand daughter and all her friends still use the heck out of it. The key was to make it almost adult sized, that is smaller than you would for full grown adults but larger than you would just for the little bitty ones. The lil folks can still use it but it leaves room to grow. Adults can use it except their butt is a little lower than normal is all. Another thing is to make the space between the seats and the top just wide enough so the lil ones can get in and out without hunkering over, shuffling side ways and/or spilling their stuff. Beside that I personally don't like tables where the seat is stuffed under the table top. Hard to get in and out of and it just isn't fair to the wee ones to have to deal with this and get hollered at for spilling things.Oops, I said about four years ago .. According to the date on the pics I guess it was longer than that.  Oh well, I'm getting to that place where everything was just the other day. Guys at work are always getting on me about that.
