I'm a recent graduate of a CWB welding program, and I have several tickets already. BUT, we didn't cover any TIG, and now that I've been working in the field for some time now, I have come to find that alot of the higher paying jobs in my area require some TIG experience and/or a CWB TIG ticket, which I don't have. The job that I have now allows me to practice some TIG on my lunch break or whenever I can get the chance to get into the TIG area. So my question is, How can I obtain a CWB TIG/GTAW ticket? I have contacted the colleges in my area, and they do offer a TIG course by itself, rather than having to take the entire welding program, but it's just the course, they don't bring in a CWB guy and test at the end of the course, all you get is a certificate of completion.
