Reply:The guy had about $ 9000.00 in it when we were done, he said it sold new for around $ 16'000.00 the trailer didn't have but about 1000 miles on it when it was wrecked, so he was very happy.
Reply:Good job. How much of that repair was aluminum, and how much was steel?City of L.A. Structural; Manual & Semi-Automatic;"Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is refined. Reply:I have a featherlite horse trailer and from my experience you had your work cut out for you and you did a hell of a job!Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
Reply:The only steel was the coupler, it is bolted in, we took it out replaced the coupler and bolted it back in, the rest was aluminum. The skins were put back on with solid aluminum brad style rivets, and the rest was welded with a spool gun, alot of work went into it, but it was actually fun, different from most of my work.

Reply:looks gr8 man, i had a similar job this last summer but it was a Barret alum. stock trailer, it had blown around a farm yard by '' STRAIGHTLINE WINDS'' according to the news, but ive nevver heard of that being possible, rolling the trailer side over side 4 times and endo 2 times landing it on top off a 36 ft air drill, my guy bought it back from ins. co. for bout 1500.00 and my bill was round 1000.00 and now he has two of them one brand new nad the other as a spare or backup trailer not bad for 2500.00 instead of paying 18,000 for a new one like the ins. co. had to. if i can figure out how i will post up some of my project pics, kwMM 251MM 135Lincoln Pro cut 55Bobcat 250Miller Thunderbolt ac/dcolder ac forneyJackson nexgen 3n13-Smith OP setups97 Dodge dieselMakita chopsawJet swivel head bandsawlincoln tig 300/30030a spoolgunpuma port. gas air comp.
