A friend of mine who is a professional photographer needed to take some pictures for one of his college projects. He took a few really nice pictures of me welding and running my plasma, so I figured I'd put them up here and see what you guys think --Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow

Reply:not sure what kind of filter he was running. I know he was using a Nikon D80 SLR with a UV filter. I could probably ask him for settings if you're into photography. Despite having a D50, I know just about 0 when it comes to setting a camera beyond focusing and pushing the button --Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow

Reply:The top four or five are good enough to submit to a stock photo library. You'd be surprised how few genuinely good welding pics are available, and you may earn some pocket money.

Reply:Cool pictures. I'd be worried about burning the sensor out in the camera though...must be using filters and/or very fast shutters speeds???"These instructions are at our present level ofknowledge.
