Tig for a machine shop

I This came in today, I had quoted it at .5 hours thinking I could use pulsed spray.  Since there were only two of them and the welds were important, I tigged them.Bevels cut, just assemble.  Whatajob.  I had to really stick the tungsten out for the tacks and first pass.Last edited by David R; 01-22-2010 at 04:37 PM.Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:1/2 HR????Takes longer than that just to get all set up!!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
