Need a back up helmet, I have a Miller elite always nice to have a good quaility passive helmet in reserve. Jackson hsl 2 and the Kemppi beta 60 are on my list as well. I have never even seen a Sellstrom and their website isn't the best,any thoughts.
Reply:Ok seems like the sellstrom passive helmet is not so popular, What about the jackson hsl 2, made in the U.S.A as well, and I can get a cracking deal on the net. After Christmas I'm hoping to get a job tank welding and need a helmet than can stand up to intence heat. Hard to get reviews on passive helmets. Reply:One of my helmets is a Sellstrom 29711 auto/darkening and it is very nice, quite light in weight. Purchased from Grainger back in '09. Best Bob
