250amp Mig Purchase

Hey guys , I'm in the market to buy a new Mig unit in the 250amp range . In my area , the two best choices are the Miller MM252 and the Lincoln PM 255xt . Both are similarly priced and supported .My experience with smaller mig machines has always favored the Miller machines , but , I really want to be sure with this next purchase as it will have to be my last for a mig machine .This machine will just be going into my garage at home and I will not require a spool gun as I already have a Tig machine for aluminum .Any significant advantage with one brand versus the other ? Reply:What limitations did you have with those machnes that you need to upgrade?
Reply:No real limitations with the TA210 . It had all the power that I needed , but , if given the choice , I prefer a continuous voltage control with digital meters over a tapped machine with no meters . Reply:Decision made . I bought the Miller 252 . A local dealer gave me a price on a brand new machine that included a brand new 15' Bernard Q300 gun that was $350 less than the Lincoln machine with the factory gun .
