Well it's been busy around here. On top of all that I got notice a week and a half ago to remove the machines I've had in storage for a while now. I've known this was coming but with everything that's happened I never did get a chance to build the shed off the side of the shop for them. Anyway I've put a lot of thought into my house situation and I've finally decided that my best bet is to build my living quarters where I was going to put the shed. That left me with no place to put my machines.  I did have a friend offer to let me use his building for a little while so I've got what I consider the critical stuff in there (a tool and cutter grinder, micro form grinder, and a large shaper in good shape). But that left me with a old shaper and my old ShopTask as well as some misc in need of a roof. I've left them on the trailer since the move while trying to catch back up on the work and for me to think about what I was going to do with them.   After considering the alternatives I decided that my best bet was to enlarge my shed out back. But putting such large machines on dirt wasn't going to work out well thus I needed some concrete. Friday I had a small break in work while waiting for parts to come in thus we moved everything from in front of the shed and emptied everything from the floor of the open part. We then did a quick pour of concrete in there. Yes I know it's not right in any imagination of the word but it will do for storage. My helpers have no idea of how to pour concrete making me critical for every part. I did manage to get it semi level and smooth despite doing it in a hurry at the end of the day. Good enough in this case. It has plenty of portland and fiber in it so I think it'll hold up ok. I did have to put the stuff back to quickly due to the chance of rain today but I did manage to get everything back in there by myself yesterday. There's still some things on the trailer but nothing that a little rain will hurt.   I plan on extending the shed roof up and out another 12-14' once I level and pour up some concrete there. That'll give me a 26' long area to enclose with some large doors for storage of my other machines and other things till I get a chance to expand my shop.   The mixer worked ok except for the lack of power since the gear box crash. I need to gear it down a little more. I did manage to find the right sprockets (after fixing it of course) now it's just getting the time to do it. As it is we had to do some shoveling to get full batches without locking down.
