first pic is my original set up, got it a 10 months ago. Syncrowave 180sd with cooler. Sold it to a guy from Colfax, ca(470 miles away). He drove 8 hours to buy this sync 180. yes, TEN hours! The man is crazy. I put the ad in craigslist, got a response next day. I called him around noon, and he showed up at my doorstep after dinner time.then i picked up the Sync 250dx a day later, locally.sorry for the lack of actual content... just need to gloat. Reply:Boostin - There's 3 or 4 identical setups in so cal craigslist. all list for $3, thats what i paid.Rwells - even though its smaller then the cooler on the 250dx, its just as loud. however, the torch never got hot. Ever! Even when i was doing practice beads on aluminum... 3 inch bead after 3 inch bead, practically non stop, on a sheet of 3"x10". I filled the whole piece of aluminum with beads, the cup was hot for 10 seconds after i finished, then the whole torch was like it wasn't even used. That's on a 1/8" thick aluminum, btw. |
