Reply:be careful,my wife showed absolutely no appreciation for the aluminum scoop shovel i gave her for our 50th.----but she was ok with the conversion van that i gave her later. i got the shovel because some guy on a fishing forum complained that his wife hit him with the shovel he gave her for their anniversary and it cracked me up.

Reply:That's a pergola with a capital P! Brian you are gifted. I'm blown away by it. Most pergolas here are about about 3 feet square. Built down to a price. Sideline project from the garden gate and fence companies, made as time fillers, I suspect. Yours is inspirational, a Pergola by design, built with a purpose in mind. Reply:Thanks, Tractapac.Well I had to get a late start Sunday evening, since we went hiking and picnicing for Mother's day.I finished it up just in time, about 10 minutes before midnight.Here's the finished shots.
