To you folks just getting started the best tips I can give you is to practice with each hand and in different directions with each hand.Many times in the last 20 years I have been summoned do do a weld that was lefty cause most welders can only weld right-handed.Another tip is to practice using a mirror and a bent rod where you can't see the weld.
