After getting tired of the el cheapo Harbor Freight welding cart, I decided to make my own. Our local steel yard had some odd shaped pieces at really low prices. So, I fished through it and found enough 2" square tubing to make this. There was an awful lot of work with a cup brush to get it clean. I bought the wheels at Harbor freight.

Reply:War Eagle guys!!! Here are some pics after painting. It was actually still drying when I took the pictures. There were some gouges in the sheet metal, so those are the irregularities you see on the top of the shelves. I used Rustoleum High Gloss Enamel over primer. If I had it to do over again, I would use the Tractor implement paint that Tractor Supply sells. It seems to be more durable.
Reply:I would have painted it crimson.

It certainly should not collapse or anything!(I need to swipe one of your pictures to keep in a drawer for when my buddy accuses me of over-building something....)Tom Hintz, publisherwww.newmetalworker.comLincoln Pro Mig 180Lincoln AC 255Determination

Reply:That's a good lookin' build, but you're gonna wind up hating those little front casters. I finally took off the ones that came on my Miller mig cart and put some HF 4" swivels on the front. The little ones would get hung up on a mouse turd!
