IIRC you made a comment a while back about wearing your wife's cooking gloves while welding. If so do you have any follow-up on them. I've been thinking of trying them but I don't want to throw $30.00 away if they don't work or wont last.ThanksBob

Reply:Lol I never did it. I tried a mechanics glove for a very short time, like 5-10 minutes but not an ovglove. I do remember reading about a few people who have done it. I wouldn't.I found a pair of Tillman pigskin gloves (onyx, black color) and have been in love with them.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer

Reply:It's all about finding the right tig glove and getting a used to it. I probably tried 4 sets of gloves before I found ones that were comfortable enough to work with.Try the pig skin onyx Tillman. Reply:Doug,http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=398831_0_0_Spark plug wire insulator. Most auto supply stores have them. They are almost the same cost as Jody's I just don't like dealing with paypal. And of course I wanted them "NOW"... I'm not long on patience. If you try them you'll want to put some epoxy on one end after you unroll it otherwise they fray quickly. It just dawned on me McMaster Carr carries a insulated tube that would also work. http://www.mcmaster.com/#fiberglass-sleeving/=lc2fofGood luckBob
