Here's a fly rod holder I built for my mountain bike. I saw these on-line and decided to design my own. I have one that I designed for the axle (wheel hub) nut, and one that plugs in to my bicycle receiver hitch (that I posted on another thread). Once again, I am using hot roll rod because it's light weight, less bulky, easy to manipulate and very cheap. If you cut a slot in the top ring, you can slip a regular fishing rod in as well. However, I like using the telescopic spinning rods for travel..... I mount those in a sleeve I stitched and installed the sleeve on my handle bars. I use a bike luggage rack with a saddle bag to haul the rest of my fishing gear. Attached Imageshttp://www.youtube.com/user/c599209/videos
