having problems with lincon 275

heres my problem  this is the scond torch in six months  3 torches in  2 years . iv  just perchest   a weldcraft  sc410 its coming friday. the torch  blow  up im only  welding aluminum .083 wall to a one inch pice i called lincon they told me it was the pump that they had a problem . with it putting to much presure on the  lines . every thing is working on my machine but i want to know if any one has had this problem [n the passed . or are they blowing smoke up my ***Rod Burner
Reply:Hi Roy;Are you using the Square Wave 275 or the Precision Tig 275?The newer vane pumps do run at a little higher pressure than the older cooler 10 units, but I've not heard of any real problems with them. If you wrap the cables around a sharp bend or get something in the coolant to plug them, no torch will last long.Matt
