Does a certified welding "c" level transfer into a Ontario welding ticket?

Hi all, new guy hereI have recently moved from BC to Ontario. I have a welding C ticket and am wondering if that level of training transfers over to anything Ontario has?Thanks so much for helping, and see you on the forum.

Reply:Im in BC and want to go to Alberta soon, and I think C level is called a 1st period apprentice, B level schooling without hours is 2nd period apprentice, with hours 3rd period, etc.Not to sure about Ontario, kinda messed up how all of the provinces do it diff, but I think they are slowly changing it now. Best thing to do is call a School that has a welding course and they could prob provide you with info or at least the # to an instructor who will know for sure.
Reply:IIRC the "C" designation allows a 3rd yr apprentice to do in shop "B" pressure work. I don't know if it is shop or province specific.Leo
