Just finished this. Turned out nice, the customer loved it. No one in my area makes these so maybe i will sell a bunch. BTW the pics were taken before completion (I hadn't added the removable back bar).  www.performancealuminumfabrication.com

Reply:That is really sharp, I am curious though what alloy tube that was.  Seems that its not too easy around here to find aluminum tubing in the alloys recommended for bending.

Reply:Thanks everyone. I don't know how long it took. WAY TO LONG. because of that i didn't even make any money off this one. It was my first one out of my own garage (two car). I had to calibrate my bender and get used to using it on material that will scratch if you look at it funny. I use a JD model 4 rotary compression bender (not your usual bender for marine fab shops). I get very awesome bends out of it. I also had to build the jig. But now that i have one done im hoping i can get the time down. If i can't build them in 12 hours or less by myself its not worth it (looks easier than it is).I use the rust-oleum aluminum (it is applied on the weld in the above picture). i have never used 5356 on anodized pipe. Reply:4043 does not anodize it just turns gray, 5356 will anodize and match the parent metal
