Deer Stand Project

This is a project I started to help me learn to weld. The welds were with a Lincoln Pro 180 Mig welder with C35 gas. Really enjoyed making this stand. The dimensions are  4' X 5'. The stand is eight feet tall. The frame is 1" square tubing 14 ga. 3/4 plywood for the floor and Smartsiding for the sides.I still have the blue covering over the plexiglass. Attached Images

Reply:Looks got . I do think you need a few cross braces for your legs to stiffen it up.

Reply:Very nice to get out of the wind when its well below 0*F and the wind is blowing 30+mph. Still takes skill to find the right spot and keep your scent down walking in. Now hunting corn fields is entirely different, might as well sit on the road in the truck and listen to the radio if your hunting corn fields

Reply:Based upon the pics, I assume that you can truck this in to the hunting location then set it up, or does it come apart so you can haul it in a piece at a time on an ATV or whatever?Qualified & experienced at welding scrap metal
Reply:The legs slip out to allow you to move it easier. I am going to put cross braces to improve stability. Going to use angle iron material for the braces.
