Service compressor

Picked this up for under $400 2 weeks ago. Lady was cleaning out her fathers tools after he had passed. Got it home and a little cleaning of the compressor valves and it runs really well , did complete service and now want to touch up the scrapes and surface rust on the tank. primer is still wet here. Sorry I started this project late today on impulse and did not take pictures of the frame being welded but just a couple of Mig beads. cross members are on top to save on overall height.    Point of this post is the thing was walking (running) all over the place when it was running so I decided to mount it on some isolation dampers. (rubber mounts) These were $7 bucks a piece at Graingers and competely stopped it from bouncing around. I can now use it in the driveway without lashing it down.  Compressor is run by a 12 HP Kohler, and makes 20 CFM up too 175LBS. should run air tools, plasma cut or air arc no problem.  I'll try to finish it tomorrow and post finished pictures. For any of you guys that are mounting a machine to a frame, I really suggest you use these as they work great.         Also bought 2 roll air wheel barrel compressors last week with 6.5 honda's, not running,  Minor cleaning and some un gumming of the unloaders and now have 2 running roll airs,    1 has been dropped and has a tiny crack in the tank that slowly leaks , not quite sure what to do with that yet. I'll post some pictures of those when I can. Reply:This compressor should keep you supplied in air for many years to come!Would you please post the Grainger link or part number for the damper?  I searched the Grainger site but could not find them.Thanks!
Reply:The blue compressor is fine, does not need any welding, I'ts the wheel barrel Roll Air that will need a fix.  On the isolators, I'll try to post the number. I may have it on the sales receipt. Reply:On the roll air i would think about picking up some air tanks off a parted out semi truck before attempting a repair on the original tank.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
