New Bed

Been lurking for a while finally decided to post and introduce myself. I've really enjoyed the pictures and the knowledge this site has to offer, I'm just a hobby welder but I love it. My project story...Got the ok from the wife to build a newbed for our new mattress set. Took abouta week, but me and Mr Miller (welder thatis) got it done and Momma is happy now.Headboard and footboard are made of14ga 2"x3" tubing with 2"x1 /8" strip forthe basket-weave. These rails and crossmembers are 2"x2" x3/16 " angle steel.Sorry for the pics, no close ups and all from cellphone cam. Attached Images

Reply:Stump- the feet are capped with small pieces of the 2"strip then rounded off clean with a flapper disk.Not first project just first post.
