P&h welder

Does any one know anything about P&H engine driven welders. One is for sale by me and the owner wants $500 for it. I have been a welder for over thirty years and I don't know anything about this welder.It has a continental 4 cylinder engine that looks like an engine from an old lincoln.It runs and welds well.Any help is appreciated.Thanks Attached ImagesLast edited by kctgb; 03-19-2013 at 05:52 PM.

Reply:I have seen a few of these, but not many, P&H also made electric units and some good cranes.    How many amps? might be good to use for carbon Arc. It's all in how you look at it, might be a money pit but we know the continental is hard to beat, even at 500, if you do 1 or 2 jobs you should have your money back, that said it only has to run for what? the better part of 2 days, 1 tank of fuel.    CL wants 300 for Lincoln tombstones used.  See why I end up with so many machines.
