Cleaning out the garage today making room for stuff and getting ready to make room for a big welding table that I want to build. I'm throwing crap out and come across an oil drain from my friends car he put in a bucket of bolts he gave me. It's SS and had a small diameter pipe at a 45* (ish) angle on it. I had a piece of mild steel sitting around so I cut it and shoved it on top of the other and used my harbor freight stick welder with some beauty rod.Took the end of it to the grinding wheel so it's smooth and wrapped it in black tape. The holes were rather large so I started to look for washers. Nothing. I found some nuts that didn't fit in the holes, but they looked to be just about the right size.I figured maybe they will press in, so I put them in the vice and sure as **** they pressed in. Few dry wall screws and it was on the wall. Finally I have a place to rest my helmet. Quick and free, can't beat that.Nuts pressed in2 wood/drywall screwsJob well doneAnd the newest edition to the bikeHopefully the next project involves some more fab work as this was nothing lolAnd here are the bikes if anyone was interested in seeing themTorchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
