I picked up an american optical shade 12 in almost like new condition, I just wanted to brag about and see how long have some of you guys had AO's in your hoods for?
Reply:Sell it and make some quick cash, I run a 5 dollar gold omni view and can weld just as good or better as the douche that has to have the old AO cool blue.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:I have several gold lenses, I have a regular gold lens cost me around $2 and its glass, I have my German gold played which I have no idea the cost as it was given to me but I hear they're pricey and I got my AO. But from what I've heard is tht AO are less strain on the eyes. I don't know but I am going to test the lens
Reply:Also, I've used AO's in the field several times and to me, just a personal opinion the blue looked amazing. Better than seeing green.
