Hey guys!!Well, this is my latest project. Ive made a couple fence unrollers before, and they always sell and they're easy to make and so I like building them. The pair that Ive sold both held their roll of fence vertically, but some people on the forums and in comments on my videos have told me that they'd prefer a horizontal model, and since that means that there might be a demand for horizontal F.U's, I thought id build one. The vertical ones allow you to turn corners as you lay down fence, but they're harder to load. This one couldnt be any easier to load since you dont have to stand the fence up, but good luck turning with it, haha. I guess we'll just see if it sells Anyway, I welded everything up with my good ole' stickmate and I think it turned out really well. I used Hobart 7018, and 6011 for tacking and for two welds on one of the "h" supports just for a change of pace. Im always open to constructive criticism, and I just wanted to share. And FYI, I know the open corners on the square tube make it look hacked. I didn't think it would be a big deal as I was building it, but now I really wish I'd done something there. Oh well, live and learn. Enjoy the video, and have a nice day everyone!! Reply:make it pivot in center, with a spring loaded pin to lock it in place...tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:Yeah, thanks for the idea. Ive thought about that, but if I put the pivot in the middle, then it would be too tall for the hitch on pretty much any tractor. And if I put the pivot to one side a little bit, then it would be "lopsided" when its lowered into the horizontal position. See my dilemma? :/[Account Abandoned 8/8/16 Please Do Not Attempt Contact Or Expect A Reply]. See you on YouTube! -ChuckE2009

Reply:some thoughts to ponder.Clean the bb's off your welds.  I use a file that hs a chisel end or a wide concrete chisel.  The bb's just pop off and if not then the chisel can cut them off.Don't weld your hitch pins.  The weld will temper them and they may bend on you.  Also, it looks more professional to have them bolted in.
Reply:My dad built one a long time ago that we pull behind a four wheeler. It is a vertical one it used to be horizontal but whenever we would stop it usually kept unrolling making a big mess so we changed it to a vertical, it comes in vary handy.Lincoln 225 RangerSa200            01 dodge  3500 welding rig
Reply:Great videos, your enthusiasm is great, In addition your product looks very professional. I have a suggestion... look for a band saw, or a portable band saw.... much less noise, cleaner more accurate cuts, and the savings in blades will pay for itself, not to mention not having to breath all that crap.Lincoln pro mig 180Lincoln Square Wave Tig 300/wp 20/home built water cooler Victor, Purox, Harris, O/A welding/cutting setupsVintage Craftsman drill pressVintage Craftsman/Atlas 12"x 36'' lathe7''x 12'' w/c band saw Everlast 140 st
Reply:I agree with Demonspeeder on getting a band saw.I used friction chop saws all the time till I screwed one up cutting c-channel. Now I use my 4x6 bandsaw, I bought for thick solid bars, full time. I wonder why I didn't go full time on it sooner. I'm saving money by not buying disks all the time now. I just use up cutting oil now. Much cheaper. And thinking of making a fluid pump cooler for it now. There is a yahoo user group that has ever bandsaw trick and mode you can think of. I was amazed at all the crap those guys do to thier band saws. Just google "yahoo group bandsaw".By the way, Great job. Very impressive. Seams to go vertical. You could just make a 4 hole bolt on plate in the middle for horizonal and one towards the side for vertical. Or put three bolt plates to even it up. haha.ThermalArc 161STL TIG/Stick (160amp)Lincoln weld-pak 100 (fluxcore)4X6 Enco bandsaw10" skillsaw with metal blade for 45degrees (works)4" grinderWeld for fun. Reply:Great project Lanse, I enjoyed the  videos as well.If I were making that fence unroller, instead of the holes in the arms, I'd make a U shaped cut near the end of the arms, open at the top, reinforced as necessary so that to load a roll of fence, you could slide a pipe through the roll of fence and then back the tractor and the unroller under the fence roll with the arms near the ground, then raise the three point hitch to engage the pipe and the roll of fence would be loaded without lifting it manually or getting off the tractor."The reason we are here is that we are not all there"SA 200Idealarc TM 300 300MM 200MM 25130a SpoolgunPrecision Tig 375Invertec V350 ProSC-32 CS 12 Wire FeederOxweld/Purox O/AArcAirHypertherm Powermax 85LN25
