dialarc or idealarc

i was looking at buying either a dialarc or idealarc 250.they look about the same to me.is there any advantage or disadvantage to either of them? i was going to buy new ,but there are a lot of used ones for sale 'so i am now considering used. are the old ones the same as the newer ones?                                                                                                                                                                                           thanks for all answers
