This was fun....its been a few years since I have gotten to work with any stainless.Doing a first burn and wash on it tomorrow and grilling up a couple steaks Friday. If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. Reply:Nice Job!Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
Reply:Are you calling this project complete, or is it still a work in progress? I would suggest a handle on each side to make it easier to move around. You should have some of the original type contents to keep you hydrated during the test burn, and also the first cooking test run. No need to get dehydrated with all the product testing.
Reply:Other than a little spit and polish (which is a total waste of time IMO, but hey, my welding part is done and I'm getting a steak out of the deal) I'm calling it done. Burnt a 1/2 bag of charcoal in it today to help burn any crap out out it. It done real good, lit it @ lunch time and still had red hot coals at 2:00 break. Too bad this was built at work. I would be all for emptying the keg then immediately start building the grill just to see what the outcome would look like If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience.
