Finally got a torch holder

Well after welding for awhile now, I never thought I would need one or want a torch holder. Made one at the last house on my last bench and never got around to it at my current home so I decided to just go out and buy one. I forgot what I was missing. After my torch wanting to slide off the table I figured I would spend a few bucks on it and I don't regret it one bit. I LOVE this stupid thing. Plus the magnet is a bonus so I can move it whereever I please.The mig one is still in the box but I'll take it out next time I use the mig. Would it be a bad idea to put it ontop of the mig welder? Reply:I was going to, but my table folds up to the wall and didn't want it sticking out. Plus it's easier to move around. I think it was worth a few bucks. Reply:Gamble, I feel the same way about you buying a torch holder as I feel about my wife (one of the worlds greatest cooks) telling me she bought a frozen pizza at the supermarket...  I'm crushed.   (grin  (I don't know how to attach attach one of those smilie thinigies)).    It looks good though.... Reply:Gamble you can sew yourself a pair of pants too, but sometimes it's just easier and more convenient to just buy something. I'm the busiest guy who never gets anything done that you will ever meet because I have to make EVERYTHING. It gets old after a while and I gotta learn to say uncle sometimes and just buy something. Reply:I have a cheap hf mig one that works well for my oa torch.  I'm always working on the equipment and not on bench so the magnetic part is nice.
