Anyone out there own a champion 145 dc welder

A Champion 145 DC welder has come to my attention for payment on a welding job I did for a person that can't pay me at this time.Will this little welder burn 1/8 and 5/32 welding rod and weld 1/4 steel like the Hobart web site says it will. I want to hear from people that own this little welder and used it for welding.Tell me what you think of this little welder.Thanks,
Reply:As long as it is in working order It should be more than capable of 1/8. 5/32? It should work, but you're not going to be able to run the rods as hot as possible.I'd ask for a demo, then you'd know for certain.
