I had an idea for a small table that I could Tig small projects. with alot of clamping options. Its made from all scrap material, the top is 1/2 inch A36 (14 x 28), the frame is all scrap Angle Iron, the wheels came from an old Lawn mower. By the time I cut all of the material, ground off all the rust, fit it all together, stick welded it up, I had about 8 hours over 2 days. The top I took to work put it on one of our Cnc Mills drilled 5/8 diameter holes (48 all together) on 2 inch centers, took maybe 30 minutes. I wanted to be able to sit in a regular folding chair and weld. Attached Images

Reply:Looks like a home run to me. Great idea for the strong hand style clamp holes and I like the rear wheels idea too. Maybe put a couple of small swivel casters up frony that drop down when not needed to prevent movement and add a couple of reciever boxes for a grinder, chop saw of vise. Otherwise I am all for recycling used material and getting something usefull and practice at the same time. Great idea!!BobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys? Trade?
