Reply:Those have been around for wood for a fair amount of time. This gives a better look at what they are. Might be able to make one. Not exactly cheap, like $30 - 80 for wood.http://americanwoodworker.com/blogs/...ill-press.aspxDid a search and did not find any offered for metal yet. Maybe dig some more. Maybe Ebay.Be nice to have for both metal and wood. Suppose the metal ones might also do wood, maybe not the other way around.
Reply:Instructor showed us that same vid in our machining class on Tuesday night..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:How does this compare to a rotary broach? I have a Slater rotary broach (http://www.slatertools.com/) that does all kinds of shapes. The square tool in the video is different than a normal broach but it appears the offset is similar. I bet this tool requires less thrust pressure than a broach. It appears much more efficient. Anyone have a link to the tool holder? What other shapes does it do?I wonder it I can use this cutter in my holder
Reply:Pretty cool stuff!Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
Reply:Seen the same idea on a ACVW forum the other day. Can't seem to find one for sale though.Century Quick Fix wire welder, Century Infanite Disc Stick welder, Lincoln Pro-Mig 175, Oxy Acetaline torches.

Reply:THAT is awesome! Kind of reminds me of how a wankel (sp?) rotary engine works.
Reply:That is also shown in Alex Weiger's " The Modern Blacksmith".... I still do not understand how it works... but I trust that it does....Weldandpower Lincoln 225 AC,DC with Briggs 16hp gas engine.WW2 era Miller TIG.
