Reply:Nice... I should try to sell the local guys on those.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.
Reply:Very nice BP blower rack. Can I get some details on your build so that I cna build one because I have a 380 and that would work perfect. Thanks in advance.
Reply:ed, you might mention something to the customer about some sort of theft proofing..tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:that aint gonna work going down the road. It could fall when those welds crack. I have 52 years in the BP blower racks and that aint gonna cut the mustard. You need a good engineer to redesign that thing, call the customer and give their money back. Ed you know better than that.Last edited by g-man; 11-01-2011 at 04:26 PM.

Reply:Nice. Only thing I would have done would be to extend the thick base plate to the front. It would add a ton of ridgidity. That 1/8" angle flex's alot."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"

Reply:I am pretty sure that thick plate was already there judging by the holes in it which makes me think it had a previous use and the spray paint over the new welds. True it would have been better to put it over an upright or at the corner but for all this thing weights and how close to the rail it is mounted- it's not going anywhere. Some of those who pick on these type of projects the most also have some real crap posted when you search your projects. (not necessarily anyone in this post) but in general. I think its about time I post up some of my projects... |
