Reply:I think you can just sign up through AWS and take a test.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
Reply:Yes, find a place in your area that offers tests. Look at local tech schools, colleges, etc.. They should have someone on staff that is certified to test you..
Reply:The tests i have done before are all open v groove vertical and horizontal. If i go somewhere will they require more than that for a cert?
Reply:i don't know if there are any testing facilities in huntington or charleston, but i seem to think that there was an AWS testing facility in greenbrier county. i cant think of any others right now that were any closer to you. if i remeber right, the AWS website has a state by state listing of testing facilities. if i was in huntington i would check for places in ohio and eastern kentucky, too. maybe closer to you.
