Hey got me a new tig, HTP Invertig 201. So far I like this machine quite a bit, welds excellent, my only thing is I havent gotten used to the foot pedal.. Doesnt seem to have a broad range in the pedal and I have a bit of a hard time tapering the arc off...I'll post pics as I build more, just got the basic frame mocked up. Reply:The lower area will be a storage bin, I plan on welding sheet on the sides and rear of the cart to contain that area for storage. Maybe some outside hooks to hang tools on and a handle on the back which will have an upper support/chain for the bottle... I also plan on makin a little "receiver" for the bottle to sit in.HTP Invertig 201Lincoln Idealarc SP250Miller 180 AC StickBy farmall:They should have held the seagull closer to the work, squeezing evenly for best deposition.
Reply:great start on the cart.May I suggest you put bigger wheel and make them outside the tank end of the cart.Give it a bigger foot print you don't want the thing to fall over on you.have funTom
Reply:After getting the cart together it did seem a bit unstable. I may just plop on some large fixed wheels on the outside of the frame. Thanks!HTP Invertig 201Lincoln Idealarc SP250Miller 180 AC StickBy farmall:They should have held the seagull closer to the work, squeezing evenly for best deposition.
