need some tips on overhead

passed my bend test for flat , horizontal , vertical up , now im on to overhead im running 7081 HR1 rods at 90 amps and dig is 50 on a miller maxstar 200 as per instructor's request my beads look good there just shaky because I cant really brace myself .my instructor said plant my elbow and use it like a hinge and pull the stick to me it works but still a little off any ideas ?
Reply:tie a loop around the test stand with your lead, insert arm thru loop and steady your arm with the lead.
