Are these coolers any good? I believe it is a 2 gallon unit. I can get one for 200 and was wondering if it would be worth getting instead of trying to make a cooler. ThanksTA PAK 5XRTA 185Lincoln Wirematic 250

Reply:Had one for years bolted to the bottom of my v205-t. The older ones are fairly noisy in use but I think they may have changed the type of pump used some time ago. Mines never let me down, has dry break Q/R water fittings, torch power line never gets hot even with the welder cranked all the way up for extended periodsProbably already aware of this but they are designed to be powered by the machine. Can't remember what voltage they run but would be a potential issue if not using it with a Lincoln
